What We Do

  • Grant Management

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tennessee (BGCTN) understands how important it is to secure funding in order to run programs and services for children and youth. We follow a systematic approach to managing grants. They identify potential grant opportunities aligned with their mission and goals.

Once a suitable grant is identified, they review the requirements and guidelines carefully to ensure compliance. We then prepare comprehensive grant proposals with clear objectives, strategies, and expected outcomes, as well as the budget required for implementation. We maintain regular communication with grantors after submitting grant proposals and reporting on the progress of their programs.

Managing grants effectively also involves tracking and documenting funds to ensure they are allocated appropriately and used according to grant agreements. Providing evidence of success and lessons learned, We evaluate the impact of their funded programs. We regularly secure funding that enables them to make a positive difference in the lives of children and youth through efficient grant management practices.

The Tennessee Alliance plays a crucial role in advocating for its 120 club sites. Through its dedicated efforts, the organization ensures that each club site receives the support it needs to thrive. The Tennessee Alliance provides resources, guidance, and training to club sites, empowering them to effectively serve their communities.

In addition to trainings, we also engage in other resource development activities such as partnerships with local businesses and government agencies to secure funding and support for our programs.
